A remarkable road-front fence, interrupted by a large entrance: this is the La Castellana estate.
As the automatic gate slides, a long driveway flanked by two rows of rare and imposing palm trees comes into view. To the right and left are extensive meadows.

The Castellana estate is in the municipality of Gallipoli, in an area of naturalistic importance, on a road with a toponym as high as a baron's: Rao Castellana Trappeto Rossi, and it connects Gallipoli to Alezio, Taviano and Matino.
Alezio is an ancient Messapic center, considered to be directly linked to the beautiful city since ancient times. Taviano is a small town with very important activities in trade and agriculture. Matino has one of the largest and most appreciated historic centers in the entire Ionian arc, famous for the production of wine from award-winning wineries.
Even more interesting is the distance of the alla Castellana estate from the beaches of Gallipoli, right in the most sought-after area rich in historic sites such as Punta della Suina and Baia Verde. It is a prime location, in a quiet, relaxing and enhanced context.
Gallipoli is one of the few coastal towns in Salento with an intense vitality beyond the months of good weather. It is always open, always ready to welcome visitors, the curious, and travelers by land and sea.
At Christmas there are the seaside markets, at Carnival the traditional parades of floats, very much felt in the town. At Easter the religious rites, abnegantly observed by each of the brotherhoods, passionately supported by young and old.
It has an important port area, capable of supporting small exclusive cruise traffic, luxury boats, boat shelters and services to boaters.
The Punta Pizzo nature park stretches several kilometers along the coast and can be reached directly from Castellana, even by light vehicles.
Average temperatures in this area are 10 degrees in winter and 26 in summer.
Gallipoli holds the record as the sunniest city in the entire Salento region, throughout the year.

Commission Details
The assignment of mediation to our agency and our real estate agents is conferred through the signing of a specific document or, failing that, through the use of the services listed in our brochure, in our real estate files and ralative clauses.
