What you should know about this house

Amenities and special features of this house

This property is located in the heart of the medieval village of Moresco, in the splendid Piazza Castello, immersed in a magical atmosphere, overlooking the hilly landscape of Le Marche Region. The property which has very ancient origins, stands on the walls of the fortress, is completely independent and enjoys a privileged position within the village as it overlooks, to the north, the suggestive square with its Heptagonal Tower and, to the south, the flourishing valley of the Aso River which slopes towards the sea.
Immersed in a unique setting, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy - Borghi più belli d'Italia, the property is also characterized by its historical character enhanced by the recent conservative renovation. The building was renovated on the first and second floors between 2010 and 2012, and is now conceived as a residence for multiple families, with two independent units equipped with cellars.
The apartment on the first floor of approx. 60 m² of living space, features a bright living room, a modern kitchen with fireplace, a double bedroom, a bathroom as well as a further room that can be used as a bedroom or a study. The second floor hosts the largest unit of approx. 110 m² habitable; the apartment houses a living room with a separate kitchen overlooking the square, three large bedrooms, two of which are double and one single, a hallway, laundry room and, a large bathroom with shower and bathtub.
The property includes a large rustic space of approx. 90 m² to be renovated on the ground floor, characterized by brick vaults and with great potential as it is directly accessible from the village square. On the south side, in the basement, we find a further cellar of approx. 13 m².
The palace boasts a double view useful for the natural ventilation of the rooms, and an optimal north-south exposure. During the recent renovation, all the wooden floors and vaults were consolidated, the roof slab was redone with wooden beams and terracotta tiles, the water and electrical systems were redone and new double-glazed windows were installed. Both apartments are equipped with independent heating and fireplaces; on the second floor, the air thermo fireplace is used also for the heating of the bedrooms and bathroom.
Surrounded by tranquility and history, this house enjoys an unparalleled panoramic view of the hills and represents a solution with great potential for tourist rentals, within one of the most beautiful villages of Le Marche and Central Italy, just 10 km from the sea.

Further Properties: Location and surroundings of this property

This property is located within the charming village of Moresco, a very small municipality in the Province of Fermo located just 10 km from the Adriatic Coast, known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Although small in size, the village offers some of the main services, such as a post office, nursery school, bakery and grocery store; just 2 km away, in the nearby municipality of Monterubbiano, we can find a pharmacy, medical clinic, bank and schools.
The hamlet stands in a strategic position on the top of a hill, about 400 m above sea level, and dominates the Aso Valley below with its characteristic skyline. Thanks to its position, the village boasts splendid terraces from which you can admire a spectacular panorama that goes from the sea to the mountains, passing through unique hilly landscapes that extend as far as the eye can see.
Moresco attracts for its historical and architectural beauties enclosed within the walls of the medieval castle - the ancient Castrum Morisci, for its magical atmosphere, out of time, which can be breath among its characteristic alleys.
The historic center of Moresco represents, in fact, a small jewel excellently preserved over time: its ellipsoidal structure has as its point of convergence the only square in the village, triangular in shape, dominated by the suggestive Heptagonal Tower of the 12th century, a panoramic point of excellence in the heart of the Aso Valley, as well as of Le Marche. After passing the square you come across the Clock Tower erected in defense of the ancient entrance gate to the town, once again testimony of the importance of Moresco as a strategic point for the defense of the Fermo territory.
Moresco is an ideal place for lovers of nature and tranquility, a place rich in history and traditions where you can find yourself and enjoy a lifestyle on a human scale.
Main distances: Fermo 12 km, Porto San Giorgio 16 km, Marina di Altidona 10 km, Civitanova Marche 35 km, Ancona Airport 83 km.
