Immersed in the wonderful and most romantic of the Egadi Islands, we offer an exclusive residence close to the sea, under renovation with very high quality finishes and equipped with every comfort - luxury category -, located on the island of Levanzo in the immediate vicinity of the port on the well-known Via Capo Grosso, the main artery of the entire island.
The house covers an area of approximately 82 square metres in addition to a covered terrace of approximately 16 square metres, which is an integral part of it and faces entirely towards the sea.
After passing through a beautiful entrance from the street, characterised by stone paving stones, you reach the living area with a living room and bathroom that can be fitted with a shower and/or bathtub, as well as an open kitchen, embellished by two bright glass walls. A double bedroom and a large mezzanine, where a study or alternatively a relaxation area can be created, complete the house.
The property also includes approximately 6,000 square metres of outdoor garden characterised by the Mediterranean maquis, typical of the natural reserve in which the dwelling is located.
The project plans a façade covering with local stone and wooden fixtures, in harmony and full respect for the territory, and interior flooring in Sicilian terracotta. Furthermore, the planned plant equipment respects the most modern technologies.
An exclusive oasis of peace in a unique setting.
Levanzo (Lèvanzu in Sicilian) is the smallest and also the most romantic of the islands belonging to the Egadi archipelago. Its unique landscapes are made up of white limestone rocks that are articulated in numerous caves.
The town is very small and from the sea looks like a crib with a small harbour just 15 km from Trapani, in a strategic position to reach the other Egadi islands.
The island has no carriage roads (apart from a small stretch of asphalt road leading to the Faraglione beach), one moves only on foot and life takes the rhythm of the sun. This condition contributes largely to the integrity of its scenic beauty.
The marine area surrounding the island and the entire archipelago is a protected reserve: the largest in the Mediterranean with over 50 thousand hectares.
In addition to marine species, its seabed is rich in archaeological finds; the island is famous for having been the site of the Battle of the Egadi, in the battle during the first Punic War between the Romans and Carthaginians in 241 BC.
Most of the beaches can be reached within a 5- or 10-minute walk. In addition to the beautiful beaches, its two large Bourbon villas, now both belonging to the Prada family, are also worth a visit.
Levanzo is an island to discover that, despite its small size, never ceases to amaze, an oasis of peace and natural wonders.
