This historic palace is located within the heart of the old town centre of Ascoli Piceno, in central and served area, at just 5 minutes away from the beautiful Piazza del Popolo.
Ascoli Piceno, capital town of the homonymous province of Le Marche Region, is one of the oldest cities dating back to pre-Roman times. Its historic center is almost entirely built in travertine and it is one of the most admired and visited, not only of Le Marche Region, but also of the whole Central Italy, for its artistic and architectural treasures.
The Renaissance Piazza del Popolo, located in the heart of the old town centre, is considered as one of the most beautiful squares in Italy and in the world, whose perimeter is bordered by the facades of the Capitani Palace, the historic Caffè Meletti, the gothic shapes of the San Francesco Church, by various little palaces with loggias and arcades. The Caffé Meletti, counted in the list of the 150 Italian historic cafés, has been the meeting place of the most famous people of the city, as well as a meeting point regarding culture and social life.
The city is also very active in historical re-enactments, among which the "Quintana'' knightly tournament that takes place annually on the first Sunday of August. It is also worth noting the culinary and gastronomic tradition, in particular the famous “Olive all'Ascolana''.
The city is also well connected to all the hubs towards and from the most important infrastructure and communications routes, that can be easily reached in a few minutes by car. The Adriatic Coast, known in this stretch as "Riviera delle Palme", is only a 25-minute drive away.
