Buggerru: Location and surroundings of this property
The property is located in Buggerru, a maritime village with a mining past founded in the late 19th century, on the northern edge of the region of Iglesias. The village today looks like a fan of houses overlooking the scenic sea outlet of the valley of Mount “Caitas”. Its modern harbour is overlooked by the exit of the “Henry Tunnel”, now an open-air museum, once travelled by a train that transported extracted minerals. Of the “petite Paris", as it was once called because of the environment recreated by the French company that owned the mining operation, there remains today the Miner's Museum, the remains of shafts and machinery, villages and paths, the residences and buildings of the management. Around the village there is a picturesque stretch of coastline, bordered to the north by Capo Pecora and Portixeddu. To the south there is the splendid Cala Domestica, an emerald-green jewel set between limestone cliffs. In the area, there are numerous trails for mountain biking and free climbing. A few kilometres away is the suggestive Grotta Azzurra. Buggerru is the ideal setting for wave surfing all year round. The blue, impetuous sea reminiscent of the ocean, the golden sand, the red rocks overlooking the sea and the extraordinary typical cuisine make it a precious place still preserved from mass tourism.

Commission Details
The appointment for the sale with ourselves and/or our agent is effected by written agreement or through utilization of our services on the basis of the service brochure/exposé and its related conditions.
