Pontida is the first village in the San Martino valley. It is located 15km from Bergamo and 20km from Lecco. It is therefore a strategic point, on the directrix of the great communication route of the Statale Briantea, to the left and right of which rise hilly and green panoramas, scattered with well-tended vineyards, the result of an ancient tradition that was already medieval, abandoned in the 1960s and resumed spaially in the utlimi years.
