What you should know about this villa

Amenities and special features of this villa

This house, full of island charm, is set in a magnificent, carefully tended garden and can be reached from the main road via an alley shaded by ancient maritime pines. The villa is protected by closed walls with a gate that guarantees excellent privacy and security. The house, white, bright, with Carlofortine and Ligurian architectural style, is distributed on two levels. At the ground level, a bright orangery with a view of the swimming pool and garden forms the living area, complete with relaxation area and annexed covered veranda. Connected to this space there is a comfortable, eat-in kitchen with direct access to the garden. A well-maintained service bathroom completes the floor. Directly connected to the kitchen area is a dependance area for guests with a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a small living room with direct access to the garden. This area can be separated and lived independently. The sleeping area is accessible via a practical parquet staircase. Here there is a bathroom and two double bedrooms with a view of the garden and swimming pool, one of which has a seaview. The pool, with its peculiar shape and gradient bottom, has a beautiful sunbathing area and enjoys silence and excellent privacy.

Carloforte: Location and surroundings of this property

The island of San Pietro seems tailor-made for a calm and slow lifestyle. The island within an island, known as Carloforte, after the name of the only village there, is set in the southwest part of Sardinia. The island is about 6 miles off the Sardinian coast and, together with the neighboring island of Sant'Antioco, forms the Sulcis Archipelago. Carloforte is the only center on the island with a population of six thousand. It will captivate you with narrow streets and alleys that climb up a gentle slope, with colorful views of the sea, with a small harbor and ancient defensive fortifications. The coast of Isola di San Pietro is a succession of white coves bathed by crystal-clear waters and dark cliffs overlooking the sea: a blue paradise of relaxation. Carloforte's cuisine bursts with aromas with its historic Girotonno (May and June), an international gastronomic event, and the festival of couscous tabarkino, a precious fruit of the cultural mash-up between Liguria and Tunisia, of which Carloforte is an enclave. Every year, the famous Crêuza de mä, a Carloforte event dedicated to film soundtracks, takes place. You will find pristine beaches in Carloforte, protected by lush, fragrant Mediterranean scrub. The villa is conveniently located between the old town center and the wildest part of the coast. In a few minutes by car, you can reach the port of Carloforte from where ferries to Calasetta depart.
