In the historical centre is the Castello Visconti di San Vito Built in the 13th century, it is one of the best-preserved castles in Lombardy. Just a few minutes' drive from Somma Lombardo it is possible to reach the shores of Lake Maggiore and, taking the motorway, you can reach Milan in half an hour; it is also a short distance from tourist destinations such as Lake Garda, Courmayeur and Santa Margherita Ligure.
