Exklusive Chalets in the "Almdorf"
In the heart of the Nock Mountains National Park, approx. 45 minutes’ drive from Klagenfurt, lies the “Almdorf Seinerzeit”. This holiday resort consists of around 50 luxury chalets and cabins in various designs. A limited number of these are now up for sale. They include the “Alpine Cabin” spanning some 70 square metres, on sale for 900,000 euros. In addition to the “Chalet Deluxe” with an interior of approx. 180 square metres, for 1.65 million euros. Prince Alfred von Liechtenstein, Co-Founder of the International Peace Foundation, has played a decisive role in envisaging the concept behind this remote Alpine village.
Luxury calm anchor
The chalets and cabins have been built with a traditional wooden construction. The bedrooms feature elements made from Swiss pine, containing essential oils conducive to a recuperating sleep. Each property type is furnished in a typical Alpine style expressed in a parlour with a tiled stove, a kitchen with a wood-burning oven, and a bathroom with a wooden bathtub. Other amenities in the “Alpine Cabin” and “Chalet Deluxe” include a sauna, wine cellar and private sun terrace. A full host service, gourmet restaurants and an Alpine spa also provide every conceivable comfort one would expect of a five-star hotel.
Switch off and get back in touch with nature
Prince Alfred von Liechtenstein’s vision for the Alpine village was to create a place where people can recuperate at one with nature and come together in a peaceful atmosphere. There is also a vegetable patch and an orchard, beehives and a bathing pond here, reflecting the environmentally friendly premise behind the vision. “The original, quaint feel of the village and its chalets and cabins is a source of calm and relaxation in itself. Together with the premium-quality amenities, restaurants and spa facilities, the holiday resort also has a host of exclusive pleasures to offer,” said Hans Hein, Managing Partner of Engel & Völkers Lake Wörth.
Ski regions and hiking trails very nearby
The region around the Alpine village offers a wide variety of outdoor activities both in winter and summer. It is just four kilometres to the ski resort of Falkert. Larger ski regions such as Turracher Höhe and Bad Kleinkirchheim are also just a short drive away. The many hiking trails and lakes such as Lake Millstatt make wonderful destinations for excursions, especially in the spring and summer. Additionally, the Tauern motorway some 25 kilometres away provides convenient access to the European transport network throughout the year.
