Why did you choose to work with Engel & Völkers?
Benoit Duchatelet: I chose to work with Engel & Völkers because I decided to work only for the best if I ever returned to the real estate sector.
Valentina Difilippo: I decided to work with Engel & Völkers because I learned to appreciate the German work attitude in the course of my 15-year stay in Germany. I am part of the Cefalù-Palermo team and love to be in direct contact with clients. This is something I picked up mostly while working for the renowned jeweller Christ in Germany for five years. Moreover, I of course wanted to use my German language skills in order to communicate with an international clientele. I have a penchant for real estate, its features and its history. Furthermore, I love to concern myself with interior design and real estate.
What do you think about the brand's impact?
Benoit Duchatelet: The brand has an excellent reputation, our partners already know us from other parts of the world, and the reaction of new clients that have only just discovered us is also positive, especially since sellers and buyers feel they are in good hands now.
Valentina Difilippo: Our clients know that Engel & Völkers is only interested in special properties and that our network is international. Our work is very market-oriented, which allows us to carry out very accurate property valuations.
What do you like about working at Engel & Völkers in general?
Benoit Duchatelet: It’s the strength and quality of the group that allow us to open the most beautiful doors and gain access to the best properties. That’s why I love working at Engel & Völkers.
What do you like most about the area you are working in?
Benoit Duchatelet: What I like most about the MMC in Paris is the elegance of the townhouse and that we have our own garden in close proximity to the Champs Elysées. Our clients love it and those who work there are also enjoying it a lot.
Valentina Difilippo: What distinguishes us from local real estate service providers is the international visibility and the confidence that our clients have in us to act in their best interests.
How is Engel & Völkers Headquarters helping your social media presence?
Benoit Duchatelet: In actual fact, the support of the Engel & Völkers headquarters leads to the sharing of our best articles on social media and of our most beautiful properties. This, however, requires a global and interactive logic. Change is coming, and it is for the better! The same applies for the blog articles we write, which are shared around the world.
Valentina Difilippo: I only recently started to work with an Instagram business profile and already find it amazing what reach I can have and how I can use my network to grow even more.
Please tell us about what you think about the international infrastructure Engel & Völkers offers and how you can benefit from it.
Benoit Duchatelet: The international structure of Engel & Völkers contributes to the overall quality, as the computing and marketing tools are excellent and really make work easier. As we have already had international referrals, it is encouraging to see how harmoniously the teams in the various countries work together. I think it would be a good idea to visit a private office in another country or receive visitors from another private office at least once a year.
