The Cerdanya Valley, framed by the Catalan Pyrenees with iconic views of mountains like the Sierra del Cadí or the Tosa de Alp, among others, provides us with an unbeatable place to live or spend vacation seasons. Its privileges include a large number of sunny days throughout the year, mild temperatures in summer, postcard scenes in spring and autumn, and a winter surrounded by ski slopes.
Prullans, a town located at 1096 meters in altitude, with its southern orientation, offers panoramic views of La Tosa, Sierra del Cadí, and the Cerdanya Valley. The Tourist Board of Lérida has included Prullans in the new Network of Charming Villages, selected based on quality and tourist excellence, aesthetics, and landscape. The main values considered are the Churches of Sant Esteve and Mare de Déu del Roser, dating from the 10th century and belonging to the Primitive Romanesque style, the Torre dels Barons, the seat of the barony of Prullans, the Dolmen of Orén, the farmhouse of La Bastida and that of Oren in the Visigothic style, and the spectacular dry stone walls and huts. Hikers can enjoy a section of the GR107 and the Camí dels Bons Homes, which passes through the municipal area. It is also worth noting the good communications between Prullans, the Cadí Tunnel, Puigcerdà, La Seu d’Urgell, and Andorra.
