Magnificent villa in Esporlas

Establiments, Esporles and Puigpunyent are located in western Mallorca. It is hard to imagine any other region of such unusual beauty. The situation is idyllic, surrounded by high mountains covered in pine and evergreen oak woodland and olive, almond and carob tree groves as well as tidily cultivated fields and majestic country houses and fincas. Up until the middle of the twentieth century, agriculture and cattle raising were the two main occupations of the residents. The area is still a very tranquil spot where you can wander through the winding narrow lanes. Today, the area can be characterized as a calm dormitory municipality as most of the population work either in Palma or the coast side, reducing the economical activity to the basic necessities of the inhabitants. The area offers a wide range of activities in the nature, whereas five golf courses can be also explored. Moreover within twenty kilometers one is either at the beach, or at another point of interest. In the village Esporles one can also find the well known museum of local history named “La Granja”, where visitors get to know the lifestyle of the residents of Mallorca in the 18th and 19th century.
