The municipality of Mijas is a true golfer's paradise, with some of the finest golf courses to choose from, ideal for the keen golfer. Whether you are staying at Mijas Village, in the area of Las Lagunas area or at any of the other points along the Mijas Costa, you are never more than a few minutes away from an excellent golf course.
Mijas Golf International is one of the most emblematic courses in the area and was the first in the region, founded in 1976. This course has two rounds of 18 holes each: Los Olivos and Los Lagos. Below you will find more information about the golf courses in the area of Mijas.

Los Lagos Golf (18 holes)
Los Lagos is the original Mijas Golf course, inaugurated in the mid 1970s. It is a long, flat course with several water hazards and large greens, which makes it a perfect course for both long hitters as well as for those who prefer a more technical approach.

Los Olivos Golf (18 holes)
Opened in 1984, Los Olivos is a shorter course with narrower fairways. Although it has less water than Los Lagos, it offers a unique experience, with steeper terrain and smaller greens, many of which are in an elevated position.

Miraflores Golf (18 holes)
