Sant Joan on the Costa Brava
What to do?

What to do on "Sant Joan's" Day?
The Sant Joan festival is one of the most magical of the year and in the province of Girona there are a wide variety of options for celebrating the arrival of summer.
And, as every year, we are faced with a big dilemma: where should we celebrate the Sant Joan festival this year? Here we propose different options for all tastes and ages.
The night of Sant Joan marks the beginning of summer. A magical night that is celebrated all along the Costa Brava by the sea. It is traditionally the shortest night of the year and the gateway to summer, where the tradition is to celebrate the verbena by lighting a bonfire on the beach, eating the coca de Sant Joan and toasting with cava.
