At Engel & Völkers, we continue to grow and strengthen our presence in northern Spain. This time, we have integrated the markets of Bilbao and Getxo into our network of Market Centers, which until now operated under the franchise model. “The decision to take direct control of this area reflects our commitment to providing a more personalized, closer, and top-quality service to our clients,” explains Juan-Galo Macià, President of Engel & Völkers Spain, Portugal, and Andorra.
This strategic move adds to two recent milestones: the acquisition of the Santander license in June 2024 and the opening of our new market in San Sebastián in February 2024. With these developments, we reaffirm our commitment to northern Spain, a key region for our growth. The integration of Bilbao and Getxo will not only expand our presence but also strengthen our business relationships and further consolidate our reputation in these markets.

As part of this transition, Pablo Gulías, who has until now been the director of the franchise, will be responsible for the commercial management of these markets. His deep knowledge of the real estate sector in the region and his experience will be key to maintaining and expanding our leadership position in Bilbao and Getxo.
