Suvereto is a small village located in the heart of the Etruscan Coast, one of the most fascinating and historically rich areas of Tuscany. The village is about 15 km from the sea, in the province of Livorno, and is known for its varied landscape that alternates between gentle hills, oak forests, and vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. Its location, between the Upper Maremma and the coast, makes it an ideal starting point for exploring this wonderful part of Tuscany. The territory of Suvereto is rich in medieval and historical villages, such as Campiglia Marittima and Venturina Terme, as well as Piombino and Populonia, famous for its Etruscan archaeological site and Roman ruins, and is characterized by unspoiled nature, with lush hills, centuries-old olive groves, and vineyards that produce some of the best Tuscan wines. The area is also famous for its numerous hiking and biking trails. The view from the heights is spectacular, with panoramas stretching to the sea. Suvereto is about 15 km from the coast, where some of the most beautiful beaches like those of the Gulf of Baratti and San Vincenzo are located. These beaches are famous for their fine sand and crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming or boat excursions. The nearest airport is Pisa's Galileo Galilei, about 90 km away.
