Noble apartment in Piazza Stesicoro

This property is a part of the aristocratic residence built in the second half of the 19th century by the Beneventano della Corte Barons and owned by them until the early years of the 20th century. Constructions works were directed by Giuseppe Lanzerotti on a project of eclectic inspiration in the typically Florentine style as well as for the nearby Palazzo del Toscano. The apartment is situated on the second floor, the so-called noble floor and the aforementioned portion refers to the representation halls magnificently decorated by the major painters of the time who had already worked for other important noble residences. Of the ancient furnishings, only the rich brass and crystal chandelier in the ballroom remains. The grand staircase with its imposing marble columns is of particular importance. The apartment also has a second entrance, a mezzanine and a service staircase that leads to the terrace with the belvedere, built by the desire of Baroness Lucrezia Beneventano della Corte who used it as a tea and reading room. The apartment can be divided into two units without altering its beauty.
