As you arrive in Valloria and wander along its charming lanes lined with flowers and painted doors, your attention is soon drawn to a beautiful pink house with a terrace and a large dragonfly painted on its green entrance door.
Upon entering, you are welcomed by a spacious, modern open-plan kitchen that opens onto a bright living room with a dining area. The two spaces are distinct yet harmoniously connected, with two windows framing views of the lush green valley and filling the interiors with natural light.
A magnificent white ceramic stove adds warmth and elegance, creating a cosy atmosphere ideal for relaxing moments and convivial lunches with family and friends.
On the floor below, you will find a tastefully furnished and equally spacious bedroom with access to a small balcony, which also leads to a private entrance from the street.
A wooden staircase from the living room leads to a mezzanine used as a bedroom. This generous space also features a charming sauna for one or two people. The spacious bathroom with shower is finished in a modern style.
The kitchen opens onto the terrace, another highlight of the property. It is the perfect place to enjoy dinner with friends, sunbathe, relax with a good book or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere of the village.
Just a few steps from the house, the first cellar features a small private courtyard and offers useful storage space for bicycles or firewood. A little further along the lane, the second cellar provides additional storage space.
Carefully maintained down to the smallest detail, this property is an elegant oasis of tranquillity in the heart of a village that has preserved the charm, peace and slower pace of times gone by. The house is sold fully furnished.

Location: Valloria, Liguria
Valloria, a district in the Municipality of Prelà, in the sunny nearby Valprino, is an old hamlet which owes its name to the Latin Vallis Aurea, or golden valley - gold like the colour of the olive oil, which was the hamlet’s treasure up until a few decades ago.
Situated in cool lush greenery, at an altitude of 400m, it is not far from the sea and beaches.
The hamlet has remained intact, thanks to the love with which its inhabitants have preserved its buildings and traditions.
The Museum “of things lost”, in the old oratory of Santa croce, a building from 1587, shows the everyday household and agricultural tools and objects linked to the past centuries.
Another symbol of the hamlet are the Three Fountains, dating back to 1717, the first local aqueduct to bring water to its citizens.
Valloria’s prerogative though are their painted doors, in fact the old doors of barns, warehouses and homes have been painted with various themes by international artists, creating a rainbow of colours throughout the streets and alleys of the village.
During the summer, the hamlet comes to life thanks to many events, parties and feasts organized by “The Friends of Valloria”, and the common phrase is “a Valloria si fa baldoria!”(in Valloria you go wild!)
A bus service connects the hamlet to Imperia with a few daily runs.
The area is ideal for walks in nature or mountain biking, visiting all the typical nearby villages and stopping off for a bite to eat at the many local restaurants.
The sea, Imperia town centre and the motorway exit are around 15 km away.
Sanremo with its cycling path right beside the sea, just 30 km away and to reach both Nice and Genoa airports it takes around an hour and a half.
