At the foot of the majestic Castle of San Giorgio lies the splendid "Villa Paolina," an elegant 19th-century residence that has belonged to the Counts Cavalli D’Olivola for generations. Built in the early 1800s, it was the home of Alessandro Cavalli (1819–1878) and his wife Paolina Gozani (1835–1906), daughter of Marquis Carlo Felice Gozani, from whom the villa takes its name. In the late 1980s, the property breathed new life into the villa through a careful restoration aimed at preserving its authenticity and original charm.
