Renovated historic house with pool

In the characteristic town of Gagliano del Capo, an ancient 18th-century tobacco factory has been tastefully renovated, preserving original details such as exposed stone, tuff fireplaces, flagstone floors and star-vaulted ceilings, into which unique design elements have been incorporated.

Through the large entrance door, one enters a partially covered courtyard, from which the ground floor, first floor and semi-basement cellar can be accessed.

We go up to the first floor via a convenient stone staircase, reaching a spacious hallway. From there, the immense, bright living room opens up, measuring over 100 sq m with a height of 12 m and featuring a wooden ceiling.

The feeling is nothing short of breathtaking: large windows open onto a terrace overlooking the greenery, with a swimming pool suspended above it.

Around the large living room are three completely separate sleeping areas, each with a double bedroom and bathroom.

The upper floor has been renovated in a modern, minimalist style, with micro-resin flooring and soft colours.

The ground floor is divided into two separate units: on the left, two rooms with a bathroom, and on the right, a large apartment with two living rooms, a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

The ground-floor kitchen provides access to the garden, where there is a utility room, bathroom and an additional cellar.

The garden is still being arranged and includes a beautiful metal pergola with stone benches, as well as a path lined with stone columns crossing the garden.

The possibility of constructing a 4 m x 10 m in-ground swimming pool is planned for the garden. In addition, an ancient 7 m x 3 m cistern has been restored for collecting rainwater.
