Situated in the hills on the slopes of the village of San Gimignano, the property covers an area of approximately 66ha, of which 22ha are cultivated with vineyards, 6ha with olive groves, 27ha are arable land and the rest covered with woodland. Each year, the estate produces about 700hl of wine and about 15hl of high quality extra virgin olive oil. The building that now houses the winery and the modern wine cellar was originally an historic residence dating back to the 19th century, which has been completely renovated while keeping the original architecture intact. The cellar has been updated following the principles of the most advanced winemaking techniques, completely modernising the rooms and facilities for processing, storing and ageing the wine. The property also includes a part designated for agritourism, consisting of 7 apartments carefully restored to achieve a skilful mix of tradition and comfort to meet the most diverse needs. The interiors are carefully furnished in typical Tuscan style, with luxury flooring, large wooden beams, simple and elegant beds and wrought-iron accessories. Everything is made even more charming by antique tables and mirrors, skilfully restored. This traditional style is combined with the more modern and clean lines of the kitchens, which are fully equipped, and the freshness of the bathroom linings, some more modern and others more classic, all equipped with accessories and characterised by first-rate materials. All the apartments have air-conditioning and all the rooms have a private bathroom. The walls are adorned with the oils and Indian ink of artist Aldo Lanciano, giving an additional touch of class to each apartment.
