It offers contemporary culinary art in a historical setting due to its amazing panelled rooms and impressive vaults. During the winter season, the large sports area offers a ski lift for children, a toboggan run, ice skating rink and is the starting point for an approx. 30 km long cross-country ski trail. Ski mountaineering lovers will find countless itineraries and at the same time, skiers will get their money's worth at Kronplatz. It is just a few kilometres away and offers approx. 120 kilometres of ski slopes. The skiing areas Gitschberg - Jochtal, Skiworld Ahrntal or Alta Badia are within 30 km.
