Residence Palazzo da Mula Morosini

Located in one of Venice’s most suggestive palazzi that line the grand canal, the mezzanine apartment is the home of venetian dreams, which belonged to one of the oldest noble families of the Serenissima. From our first steps into the 15th century courtyard, we are surrounded by an air of mystery and old stories hidden in the details, such as the lamp posts and the figurehead belonging to one of the Morosini galleys. We move up an impressive stone staircase to the first floor where the apartment is. A large open space welcomes us in, decorated by intricate stuccos, paintings and antiques. The open space hosts inviting seating areas and a dining corner surrounded by elegant furniture and fine glass work. From the windows, you have a front row seat to the life that hurries along the Grand Canal, with one of the most unique views in Venice, such as the Accademia Bridge and the San Marco basin. Tucked in its alcove, behind draperies lies the master bed from which one can see the Palazzi on the other side of the Grand Canal. On the right of the open space, we find a gracious and functional kitchen. As we cross back to the left of the grand room, we find a smaller bedroom with just as beautiful views and a comfortable queen size bed. Located in the Accademia area, the apartment is only a few minutes away from the cities most notable museums such as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection The palazzo also has its own private water dock for access by water taxi.
