These buildings (many by the renowned architect Ernesto Basile) are among the finest examples of Art Nouveau architecture in Italy and in Europe. Mondello offers many accommodation facilities, numerous yacht clubs and exclusive clubs, restaurants, shops, a small harbor, and an old bathing establishment, one of the city’s symbolic monuments. During the summer period, various services are offered, focused, for example, on renting cabins or on subscriptions to access private sections of the beach.
