Historic farmhouse with spectacular views over Lake Trasimeno

Situated at an altitude of 550 metres, in a spot where historic charm meets an exceptional panorama, this unique and characterful property boasts one of the most beautiful views over Lake Trasimeno. It was once part of a major farm (fattoria) on the famous estate of the noble Ranieri di Sorbello family, who had an elegant villa built here as a summer residence. From the 18th century onwards, the fattoria formed the beating heart of a vast agricultural estate comprising olive groves and vineyards, an olive press, a mill, grain fields and stables. The farm was therefore much more than an outbuilding: it was a significant architectural complex, situated right next to the villa and entirely dedicated to agriculture and production. That rich history is still clearly evident in the house today, with its original natural stone façade, old beams, terracotta floors, deep windows, imposing fireplaces and exceptionally spacious rooms.
