Description

Perched on the hills overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio, this extraordinary contemporary villa enjoys one of the most captivating views of the Ligurian Riviera, embracing Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure and the unmistakable silhouette of Portofino.

A privileged location in the heart of the Gulf of Tigullio.

The villa is located in San Pietro di Zoagli, a small residential village in an elevated position, combining privacy, tranquillity and exclusivity.

Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Chiavari and Sestri Levante can all be reached within minutes, as can the Riviera’s main marinas, Rapallo Golf Club and the airports of Genoa, Milan and Pisa.

Created through a major architectural transformation project, the residence is an homage to light, transparency and timeless elegance.

Floor-to-ceiling windows dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors, while the expansive panoramic terraces, infinity pool and striking rooftop sun terrace establish an ongoing dialogue with the sea and surrounding landscape.

More than 300 sq m of refined living space, set within approximately 3,500 sq m of private Mediterranean gardens, olive groves and panoramic terraces, ensure complete privacy.

An ambitious project reinterpreted a 1960s villa, transforming it into a refined expression of contemporary architecture.

Clean lines, large glazed surfaces and carefully selected materials engage with the landscape, creating architecture in which light, sea and nature become an integral part of the living spaces.

Arranged over three levels harmoniously connected by a striking designer staircase—an authentic distinctive feature of the residence—the villa offers interiors designed to maximise natural light and the views.

The entrance level features a spacious living area with two elegant conversation spaces, one enhanced by a fireplace, a bright dining room overlooking the sea and a spacious eat-in kitchen. This level is completed by a staff bedroom and a guest bathroom.

The upper floor houses the master suite, with spectacular glazing, a private terrace and en-suite bathroom, alongside two further double bedrooms and a second bathroom.

The garden level includes another double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a laundry room and spacious utility and storage areas, perfectly integrated into the functionality of the home.

Terraces overlooking the sea. An infinity pool merging with the horizon. A panoramic sun terrace suspended between sky and sea.

Mediterranean gardens, olive trees and fruit trees naturally complement the landscape. Every outdoor space has been designed to enjoy every moment of the day, from the first morning light to spectacular sunsets over the sea.

Location: Zoagli, Liguria

Located halfway between Chiavari and Rapallo, Zoagli has been inhabited for millennia: a prehistoric settlement, a fiefdom of the Fieschi Family of Lavagna and, starting from the 13th century, under the dominion of the Republic of Genoa. During this period, Zoagli became world-famous for the production of precious silk velvets; the weaving activity was thus accompanied by that of seamanship. Even today, the coat of arms of Zoagli features the symbolic colors of the two major confraternities: the blue of the sailors and the yellow of the weavers, with the effigy of the two Towers built in the 1500s to defend the village from pirate attacks. Already in the nineteenth century, Zoagli was a destination for elite tourism and maintained the tradition of reserved hospitality. It offers tourists evocative landscapes that have fascinated renowned artists such as Nietzsche, Kandinsky, Tosi, Sem Benelli, Ezra Pound. Zoagli is still characterized by a calm and refined beauty, which can be found in the creuze, small paths running between the villa parks and the terraces cultivated with olive trees, as well as along the Lungomare Canevaro, a rocky path that winds along the cliffs near the sea. Zoagli retains its charm even below sea level; right in front of the Rotonda Grande, about 9 meters deep, lies the statue of the Madonna del Mare, created by sculptor Marian Hastianatte. This creation enriches the artistic and tourist heritage of the seaside village and represents an additional destination for diving enthusiasts. The square overlooking the lively bars and restaurants, the promontories and coves provide the backdrop for a peaceful yet rich vacation full of great and small emotions.
