Description
Tucked away in the peaceful lanes of San Pietro, just a few steps from the harbour and the sea of Panarea, this Aeolian gem offers the perfect setting to enjoy island life in comfort, while benefiting from a pleasant sense of privacy.
Beyond the beautiful entrance arch lies a spacious terrace, entirely designed in traditional Aeolian style and furnished for convivial moments with family and guests. From here, three large French doors lead into the house, opening onto a welcoming living area where sleeping and relaxation spaces are cleverly integrated through two mezzanine levels. The result is a unique architectural solution, offering additional areas for sleeping and storage, enhanced by numerous built-in wardrobes.
Adjacent to the living area is an indoor dining room, while the eat-in kitchen, independent from both the living and sleeping areas, enjoys an additional outdoor dining space beneath the pergola. From the living area, a hallway leads to two bathrooms with showers and to the principal bedroom. The house can accomodate a total of seven guests.
The property is completed by a charming Mediterranean garden, complete with a barbecue area and views over Basiluzzo.

Location: Panarea, Sicily
Casa Paola is located in San Pietro, on the island of Panarea, one of the seven islands of the Aeolian archipelago. With an area of approximately 3.5 square kilometres, Panarea is the smallest of the Aeolian Islands. It lies north-east of Salina and Lipari, around 30 kilometres from Stromboli, while the marina of Milazzo is approximately 65 kilometres away. Panarea belongs to the municipality of Lipari, in the province of Messina.
San Pietro, Drautto and Ditella are the three main districts of the island. San Pietro is home to the island centre, with its boutiques, bars and restaurants, as well as the landing pier. In the southern part of the island, not far from the Church of San Pietro, lies the district of Drautto. Just behind the settlement is Cala degli Zimmari, one of Panarea’s most renowned beaches. From here, a path leads to Punta Milazzese, where the remains of a prehistoric village can be found. An ancient trail then continues to Cala Junco, known as one of the most beautiful coves in the entire archipelago: a natural amphitheatre of rocks surrounding an impressive natural pool.
Off the coast of Panarea lie the islets of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Dattilo, Bottaro, Lisca Nera, Panarelli and Formiche, which, together with the active volcano of Stromboli, create a truly enchanting atmosphere. The island also has a heliport and can be reached by ferry, hydrofoil or private yacht.
