The property is located in the municipality of Lu e Cuccaro, on top of a hill between Lu and San Salvatore. Today Lu is municipally merged with nearby Cuccaro Monferrato. The two villages are strategically located about 18 km from Alessandria and 19 km from Casale Monferrato, in the Lower Monferrato. Walking through the narrow alleys of Lu is a delight for the eyes: among ancient churches and historic buildings that gradually reveal themselves, you find yourself climbing up to the town center, in the raised area that is home to the Gerbido of the Civic Tower. The surrounding hills are largely cultivated with vineyards but, of great importance, also hazelnut growing, which has continued for centuries. In addition to all essential services, the town offers numerous dining venues and picturesque scenic routes to explore on foot or by bike.
