Description
On the outskirts of Piediluco, in an elevated position within a modern, well-maintained residential area, lies this splendid two-storey house, extending from the first floor up to the attic. Recently completed, the property stands out for its bright, well-proportioned rooms, but above all for its unobstructed, picturesque views of the greenery surrounding the lake and the local villages. Access to the house is convenient: from the car park below, which offers several parking spaces, you enter through a gate into the private courtyard and climb an external staircase leading to the covered terrace, a cosy and secluded space. From here, you enter the living area, characterised by large windows overlooking a second covered terrace, offering truly spectacular views. The space is airy and well-organised, comprising a living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, and an open staircase leading to the upper floor. The sleeping area is situated in the attic and comprises a double bedroom, a smaller room, and a second bathroom, featuring a dedicated bath area. Externally, the house is elegant and well-maintained, with stone details and arched openings that reflect the local style; inside, however, we find modern finishes, state-of-the-art systems and fixtures, and a beautiful exposed wooden roof. A solution that combines comfort, aesthetics and nature, perfect both as a main residence and as a holiday home, just a stone’s throw from Lake Piediluco.
Piediluco is a hamlet of Terni, just 15 km away, known for its picturesque lake and its peaceful, residential atmosphere. The village is situated in one of Umbria’s most charming areas, on the border with Lazio, within the Nera River Park. It is the ideal place for those who love living close to nature and enjoying outdoor activities: rowing is the main attraction, but there are also plenty of trails for hiking and horse riding. The village offers all the main amenities, as well as a pleasant selection of bars, restaurants and lakeside beaches. For a wider range of facilities, Terni is about a 10-minute drive away, whilst its railway station is approximately 20 minutes away. Heading down into the Valnerina valley, along the Via Flaminia or the Strada Statale 209 Valnerina, you reach Spoleto, a splendid city of art. Connections to major cities are convenient: Rome can be reached in under two hours via Orte, whilst Rome Ciampino and Rome Fiumicino airports are approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes’ drive away. Foligno and Perugia, with its international airport, are also reachable in under an hour. The area is rich in natural attractions: just a few minutes away lies the spectacular Marmore Falls, whilst to the north, in about 80 minutes, you can reach Lake Trasimeno, passing through towns such as Assisi and Perugia. The coast is also within easy reach: in less than two hours you can reach both the Tyrrhenian coast (around 120 km) and the Adriatic coast (around 150 km).
