Charming flat just a stone's throw from the Biennale

With our thoughts already turning to the 61st International Art Exhibition – In Minor Keys by Koyo Kouoh – which will enliven these places from 9 May to 22 November 2026, we approach our property. After leaving the Giardini vaporetto stop, we enjoy a short walk along Riva dei Sette Martiri. The air here carries the salty smell of the lagoon, and although we are very close to the beating heart of the Biennale, the noise of the crowds begins to fade as we reach our destination. We find ourselves in front of a completely independent entrance that promises a rare and precious privacy in Venice. Crossing the threshold, we leave behind the wide expanse of the shore and enter a more intimate and cosy dimension. The living area opens up generously before us. Our gaze rises almost naturally upwards, captured by the original exposed beams. The wood contrasts pleasantly with the freshly restored walls, suggesting an ancient history that has been carefully preserved. There is a feeling of solidity in this room, a space that invites you to slow down and imagine moments of relaxation after long days, perhaps spent among the art pavilions. Continuing towards the sleeping area, we enter the master bedroom. Here, the Venetian character is not just an adjective, but a tangible presence in the architectural details and finishes. The room welcomes us with grace; it is not simply a place to sleep, but an environment that restores calm and silence. The tour of the interior ends with the full bathroom with window. Everything smells new: the recently completed restoration gives us the assurance of a home that is ready, requiring no further work, only to be lived in. We believe that this property has a very specific vocation. Its total independence and strategic location - secluded but adjacent to the Giardini della Biennale - make it the ideal pied-à-terre for art lovers or professionals who need a base during the exhibition months. However, the quality of the restoration and the tranquillity of the area also make it perfect as a cultured and quiet retreat for those who want to experience Venice without suffering its chaos, enjoying discreet and functional luxury.
