Description

In the heart of Legnano, we present a refined 200 sqm four-room apartment for rent, located on the ground floor of a historic villa from 1890, fully renovated in 1990 and listed as a cultural heritage property. This unique residence, comprising only three living units, exudes an elegant and timeless atmosphere, particularly in this apartment, which features numerous period paintings, antique furnishings, and fine marble finishes. Accessed through the charming colonnaded porch at the front of the villa, you enter a spacious living room illuminated by large French windows, where light is beautifully reflected by an exquisite mirror. The ambiance is further enhanced by paintings, two built-in closets that can serve as coat storage, and two symmetrical arches leading to the dining area. This generously sized dining area boasts a large table, antique wardrobes, an original fireplace, and a stunning, perfectly preserved frescoed ceiling. From the dining area, there is direct access to the rear garden. Continuing along the right side of the residence, you’ll find a dramatic hallway with arches, leading to a versatile room that can serve as a study or a second dining room, a guest bathroom currently set up as a laundry room, and a spacious eat-in kitchen. The sleeping area, located on the left side of the apartment, includes a large master bedroom with garden access, currently unfurnished and ready for personalization. It is complemented by a first bathroom with a bathtub and a second bright bathroom with pastel tones and a large whirlpool tub. Opposite the bathrooms is a spacious built-in wardrobe. At the end of the hallway lies the second generously sized master bedroom. The villa is surrounded by a beautifully maintained communal park of 1,500 sqm, which includes a pleasant shared barbecue area. The property is completed by a convenient garage with an electric door, located at the rear of the villa. The location is strategic: just a few minutes’ walk from Piazza San Magno and close to essential services such as schools, supermarkets, and parks, with easy access to the highway and the historic town center. This historic villa offers a rare opportunity to live in one of Legnano’s most charming settings. The apartment is offered fully furnished and is available immediately.

Location: Legnano, Lombardy

About 20 km from Milan, with its 60,000 inhabitants Legnano is the fourth most populous city in the province. It’s equipped with all services, located near A8 and A36 (Pedemontana) highways and in a strategic position for its proximity to the Milan Malpensa Airport. Thanks to an historical battle, Legnano is the only city, besides Rome, to be mentioned in the Italian national hymn. Since 1935, every year the people of Legnano remember this battle with the Palio delle contrade, traditionally held on the last Sunday of May. The largest park in Legnano is the Parco dei Mulini, which occupies an area of 500 hectares distributed in the municipalities of Legnano, Canegrate, San Vittore Olona, Parabiago and Nerviano. An important part of the park is known as Parco Castello, next to the Visconti Castle of Legnano. It stands on a natural island in the Olona River, and was owned by various noble families until 1973, when it was acquired by the Municipality. The city is rich in culture thanks to the Sutermeister Civic Museum, and the temporary exhibitions in the Castle and in Palazzo Leone da Perego, as well as its proximity to the Alfa Romeo Fratelli Cozzi Museum, part of the Design Museum in Lombardia. This lively town is part of a very important commercial district linked to the traditions of the area, with designer stores, jewelry stores and a wide range of merchandise categories, in a unique panorama in the Alto Milanese area.
