Ca' Salviati

We arrive by water, as is the exclusive privilege of the rarest Venetian residences. The water door leads us into the building; the lift takes us up to the top floor and, as soon as we cross the threshold, the Grand Canal flows into the home through four balconies overlooking the water.

Travertine, granite, cast bronze, antique mirrored glass, and shades of blue, green and grey create a refined and deeply Venetian aesthetic. The living area unfolds as an open, theatrical space; the mezzanine offers a suspended view of the home and the water. The sleeping area comprises a bedroom, a study, two bathrooms and a laundry room.

Comfort is total and hardly noticeable: underfloor heating, canalised air conditioning and septic tanks. A unique, distinctive residence for those who do not simply wish to buy a house on the Grand Canal, but to acquire a one-of-a-kind property to live in, care for and pass on to future generations.
