Charming home in Gangi

The building built in 1888, spread over four elevations is a pearl in the heart of Sicily, from where you can admire the landscape of the Madonie Park. The house, completely restored by choosing a conservative restructuring that brought it back to its original splendor, is equipped with heating and alarm systems. One of the peculiarities is the fusion of the ancient style with the modern one.The living room has the original stone walls that are emphasized by an LED lighting, which emanates warm light downwards towards the cold, while the floor is in ceramic plank. Particular emphasis is the ground floor, which represents a part of the history of Gangi, as during the renovation there emerged tracts of underground tunnels. The house has 3 bedrooms, two of them located on the second floor, one has a balcony overlooking the Torre dei Ventimiglia and Palazzo Bongiorno, the main tourist attractions of Gangi. In addition, each room has inserts of majolica and vintage fixtures. On the fourth floor a relaxation area has been created, where it is possible to see the trussed ceiling through a window. On the same floor there is a laundry and the kitchen, the latter very bright and equipped with a balcony with a breathtaking view. One of the distinguishing features, which leaves you speechless, is the possibility of seeing, through a glass plate, the water flowing between the rocks on which the dwelling is built. The building is one of the most prestigious in Gangi, as can be seen from the techniques used for the construction of the façade, with rounded corners, as well as for the roof, with double cappuccina, used in all noble buildings.
