The former fishing village of Palma Nova is about 15 minutes by car
and west of the Balearic capital Palma. The village has been a popular holiday destination since 1930 and today's Palma Nova no
longer has much in common with the former fishing village. Shopping facilities and restaurants are open all year round and the 3
surrounding white sandy beaches invite you to linger. The main
beach, Platja de na Nadala, is very wide and has trees facing the
road, which also guarantees shady spots. Water sports, the surrounding golf courses, the Kathmandu theme park and the water
park are popular sports and excursion destinations.
