Carvoeiro is one of the Algarve's most picturesque villages, with a stunning coastline of golden beaches and dramatic natural scenery. Approximately 45 minutes from Faro International Airport. Boavista is a outskirt of Carvoeiro. This was until mid 20 th century a small village between Lagoa and Carvoeiro with a "Boa Vista" of the Lagoa plains and the Monchique mountains. It is now a small estate of varied private villas, mainly occupied by members of the local Portuguese business community but with a smattering of ex/pats (British, Scandinavian, French, German, South African) seamlessly intermingled with them, mostly with the same "Good View as in the village days. In Carvoeiro itself, a 5-minute drive away, you will find numerous restaurants, bars and cafés. The golf courses of Gramacho and Amendoeira are just a few minutes' drive away and many others can be reached in less than 30 minutes. The Nobel International School can be reached in less than 10 minutes. And the beautiful beaches of Caneiros, Centianes and the breathtaking Benagil caves that characterise the Algarve are just a few minutes away.
