Villa Belcanfora

Villa Belcanfora is a villa without comparison in the landscape of Lake Maggiore, in a privileged position in the heart of Cannero-Riviera. Built in 1905, it has preserved its original layout over the years: work on the renovation of the Villa and its park was completed in 2017. The history and architectural quality that distinguish it have been the subject of a careful restoration, in which the valuable decorations, which characterise the ceilings of all the rooms, have been brought back to life. The villa was then furnished and finished with exclusive furniture and materials that contrast with the original furnishings found in the villa, which were painstakingly restored and placed in the residence. The park is divided into two portions: the one immediately adjacent to the Villa is inspired by the typical Italian-style garden, with a symmetrical layout, where the existing essences have been restored. On the other side of a stone wall is the English-style park, embellished by the presence of an enormous, centuries-old camphor tree that gives the villa its name. Here too, the existing species have been preserved and, to complete the intervention, a swimming pool and new driveway have been built.
