Description

This splendid historic villa, dating back to 1927, is located in a peaceful residential area of Legnano and is truly a castle in the city, surrounded by a large garden and an outdoor pool. At the center of the property, the tower with balconies adds unmatched charm, offering a unique panoramic view of Legnano. The residence, which spans over 500 sqm, is spread over multiple levels and accessible via two entrances with grand staircases. The elegant floors, alternating between marble, mosaics, ceramics, and herringbone parquet, along with the high ceilings decorated with plaster details, enhance the villa’s uniqueness and character. The verandah entrance on the raised ground floor leads to a spacious living area, with a double living room that offers ample, bright spaces. The eat-in kitchen, featuring a central island with a fireplace and a mezzanine storage room, provides direct access to the garden. A guest bathroom with a bathtub completes this area. Continuing along a large corridor, the imposing stairs on the left lead us to the upper levels, while straight ahead, we reach the night area, consisting of a bathroom with provision for a shower and a bedroom. This area is also accessible via a second external entrance at the back, enhanced by a spectacular patio with columns that offers the possibility of installing an elevator. On the first floor, a large hallway with a study nook connects the spaces. The living room, with a small balcony and terrace, is adjacent to the dining area. Next to it, a cleverly concealed door, resembling a secret passage, leads to a second eat-in kitchen. A bathroom with a shower is located on this floor, as well as the night area, which includes a master bedroom with ample wardrobe space and a private terrace, a second master bedroom, and another bathroom with a shower. The second floor offers a hallway with a second study corner, two large rooms, one of which is used as an ironing room, and an additional bathroom with a shower. A single bedroom and a large storage room, in addition to the stairs leading to the turret, complete this level. In the basement, there is a technical room and three spacious rustic rooms used as storage or cellar. With the addition of under-stair storage areas, the property offers plenty of storage space. The outdoor area includes five garages with electric shutters, plus a canopy for two cars. Near the pool, a canopy provides shelter for outdoor cooking and dining. The villa is equipped with centralized heating across the levels and a central duct that runs through all the levels of the unit, useful for installing air conditioning or a lift. This historic villa is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for those looking to live in an exclusive and captivating environment.

Location: Oltrestazione, Legnano

Approximately 20 km from Milan, Legnano, with its 60,000 inhabitants, is the fourth most populous city in the province. It is equipped with all services, located near the A8 and A36 highways (Pedemontana), and strategically positioned close to Milan Malpensa Airport. Thanks to a historic battle, Legnano is the only city, apart from Rome, to be mentioned in the Italian national anthem. Since 1935, the citizens of Legnano have commemorated this battle with the Palio delle Contrade, traditionally held on the last Sunday of May. The largest park in Legnano is the Parco dei Mulini, covering 500 hectares across the municipalities of Legnano, Canegrate, San Vittore Olona, Parabiago, and Nerviano. An integral part of the Parco dei Mulini is the Parco locale del Bosco di Legnano (also known as Parco Castello), next to which stands the Visconti Castle of Legnano. The castle sits on a natural island of the Olona River and was owned by various noble families until 1973, when it was acquired by the Municipality. The city is rich in culture, with the Sutermeister Civic Museum, temporary exhibitions at the Castle and Palazzo Leone da Perego, and its proximity to the Alfa Romeo Fratelli Cozzi Museum, part of the Lombardy Circuit of Design Museums. This vibrant town is part of a significant commercial district tied to the area's traditions, with boutique shops, jewelry stores, and a wide range of product categories, offering a truly unique landscape in the Alto Milanese area.
