Dioni: Location and surroundings of this plot

Dioni is an area on the borders of the former community of Pikermi Attica and now the municipality of Rafina Pikermi. It is one of the emerging regions of the Mediterranean, with significant construction activity. It is a purely residential area and consists mainly of detached houses and maisonettes as the construction of apartment buildings is prohibited. Its population is estimated at around 400 families.
Since 2007, the area has started to be supplied with water by EYDAP. It borders Pikermi, Drafi and Agios Spyridon.
At a very short distance next to the settlement there are the modern sports facilities of Pikermi, as well as a local bus that serves local distances. The distance from the settlement to the center of Pikermi is about 3 minutes by car and 10 minutes to Pallini where there is also the station of the suburban to Athens or to the International Airport El. Venizelos. The entrance of Attiki Odos is located at a distance of 5 km, next to which we find one of the largest shopping centers of Attica, Mc Arthur Glenn, which attracts and serves people from many areas of the Basin.
But Dioni is in a key location point and for its distance from the second largest port of Attica, which is Rafina, from where daily routes to the islands of the Cyclades leave.
Athens International Airport El. Venizelos is also about 15 minutes from the area.
Finally, it should be mentioned that work has already begun on the extension of the suburban train to the area, which will also have a station that will serve its residents more directly.
