St. Ulrich not only attracts with the beautiful Pillersee, but also with the numerous hiking and mountain tours. Some of the hiking trails lead to the 1,558 m high Buchensteinwand, the panoramic mountain in the Pillerseetal, which is only about 5 minutes away by car. There is also the Jakobskreuz, the largest accessible summit cross in the world.
