Agios Stefanos is surrounded by pine forests and is famous to all Athenians for the pleasant and cool climate during the summer months. The population is increasing by residents of downtown Athens, who are seeking better living conditions. Moreover, contrary to its neighboring municipalities that have mainly a strict built-up character, the local market of Agios Stefanos is both convenient and attractive.
