It's really hard to find the correct words to describe "Villa il Leoncino".
The historical Villa, built in the 30's on the hillsides of Intra, is situated in a great position from where you can enjoy a unique and spectacular view of the Lake Maggiore. Walking through the path throughout the property, you can immediately realise the particular beauty of the botanic garden in front of the Lake; all around azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias, roses and peonies typical of the Italian garden style. The Villa is entirely covered by ficus repens, a kind of creeper plant always green that gives elegance to the structure.
The land is of 8.000 mq, obviously with a panoramic swimming pool, built in 2007, included, a big terrace, Lake view, and a small kitchen where you can spend yours relax moments completely in tranquillity.
The Villa is structured in 4 floors: at the ground floor, you find a studio, a big dining room with the kitchen, three connected living rooms with a fireplace, a TV room and a wide patio where you can organise parties with an unbeatable Lake view.
At the first floor, you find the night zone composed by four bedrooms with toilette Sen suite and two large wardrobes.
At the second floor, in the attic completely renewed in 1999, you can dedicate an entire zone for your guests: three bed rooms, two bathrooms and a laundry area.
The basement floor is entirely dedicated to the hobbies and relax. Here you find, in fact, a spa area with Turkish bath and sauna. In addition to all that, to enjoy the Italian taste, you have a private winery, a wide kitchen and a dining room.
At the entrance of the land you find other two structures: an old stone barn with beams, completely renewed, now used for the private property for the guests, and another structure dedicated to the guardian and the service staff.

Verbania: Location and surroundings of this property
The city of Verbania is the most populous Lago Maggiore centre made up of Intra, Pallanza and other small towns. Intra is the old town centre: a walking tour through the beautiful pedestrian street, rich in shops and bars where you can have an aperitif during summer or enjoy a hot chocolate in winter, is absolutely recommended. Walking along the panoramic Lake cycling path you can reach Pallanza (about 30 minutes from Intra on foot); during the walk you can admire the futuristic lines of the new theatre “Il Maggiore” and then the famous botanic garden of Villa Taranto, open from March to October, which hosts a very rich variety of flowers and rare plants, that is why many define it as the most beautiful garden in Italy. Once passed the little hill of “Castagnola”, one of the most exclusive residential areas of the city, you arrive in the centre of Pallanza, home of the “Museo del Paesaggio”, in which you will find the main works of the impressionist woodcarver Paolo Troubetzkoy. At the end of the wonderful lakeside promenade of Pallanza you finally get to the hamlet of Suna, a lovely village rich in fine restaurants and bars, which goes up to Monterosso slops.

Commission Details
The appointment for the sale with our real estate agency and our real estate agents is formalized with a written agreement or, without any document, with the utilization of the services shown in our service brochure, in our real estate expose and relevant conditions.
