Amenities and special features of this house

In the historic center of Fasano, a stone's throw from the main square, the early 20th century building reveals all its charm thanks to the architectural features, the valuable context and the major renovation carried out only 5 years ago that has enhanced its characteristics.
A set of interventions aimed at the preservation of the elements and materials made with care using innovative and ecological techniques that make this property a real jewel.
The master entrance with a wide stone staircase and columns leads to the second floor now used as an office. The stuccoes, the decorative designs on the vaults, the fully recovered period flooring as well as all the fixtures, the views of the downtown streets, the brightness and the wide spaces are just some of the elements that make you fall in love. Then a large terrace from which to enjoy an all-round view among spires, gables and bell towers with a curious, covered, ancient and intimate space.
A historic dwelling that enjoys all the comforts even in terms of plant engineering adapted to the most modern regulations in force.

DINTORNI: Location and surroundings of this property

Among olive groves, trulli and centuries-old masserias, one reaches Fasano. The municipality stands in a favorable position for the discovery of all of central Apulia. Some of its areas fall within the Itria Valley, but the territory extends to the foothills of the Murgia, marking the border between the province of Bari and Salento.
The municipality of Fasano stretches as far as Torre Canne, the most famous thermal center in Puglia, and Savelletri, a locality on the Adriatic coast of international prominence and often chosen by prominent personalities from around the world to spend their vacations in total privacy.
It is definitely worth visiting the historic center of Fasano, which in local dialect is called U'mbracchie, meaning shade. In fact, its narrow white-lime streets, typical of southern towns, do not allow the sun to beat down, thus guaranteeing coolness for most of the day. Contributing to the unique setting are the many churches and historical monuments that can be admired as one walks to the Fogge tower, the only surviving tower of the ancient city walls that surrounded the Old Land in the 1600s.
In addition to having a culinary tradition that ranges from the sea to the land, Fasano boasts an ancient and fascinating history. The most traditional and folkloric event is La Scamiciata. It is a historical re-enactment of the victory of the people of Fasano over the Turkish army that attempted to plunder the territory in 1678. Also a few kilometers away you can visit the archaeological excavations of Egnatia.
Renowned is Selva di Fasano, a popular hamlet for those looking for dream villas in a tranquil setting with views over the plain of olive trees and Mediterranean flora to the meeting of the land with the sea.
