Nemi is a small village located on the top of a spur, with the tower and houses reflected in the waters of the lake bearing the same name, surrounded by reed beds and strawberry greenhouses. It is famous for the Strawberry Festival held every year in June and for the surrounding wood which once housed the Temple of Diana Nemorense. Numerous walks and excursions are possible in the area such as the Sentiero dei Due Laghi which winds through the Via Francigena del Sud.
