Dongo: Location and surroundings of this property

Thanks to its central location between the upper part of the lake and Switzerland, Dongo is an ideal holiday destination, with every imaginable convenience. You can hire a boat and explore the beauty of the lake, or stroll along the mountain trails stopping at one of the characteristic mountain crotti.
The lake offers a wide range of water sports and the hinterland is ideal for long walks, excursions, trekking, cycling or mountain biking.
The capital Como can be reached by car in about 1 hour (about 49 km), the city of Lecco in about 51 minutes (about 56 km).
The Como shipping company offers convenient connections all year round to other picturesque lakeside towns, such as the famous town of Bellagio.
The Lombard metropolis of Milan, with its international airports Malpensa and Linate, is about 1 hour and 48 minutes' drive away (approx. 96 km), and the Swiss city of Lugano with its regional airport is about 55 minutes' drive away (approx. 40 km), offering important infrastructure that is easy to reach.
Of interest to winter sports enthusiasts is the relative proximity of the well-known ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH), as well as Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno (Ital.), which can be reached by car in about 1,3/4 - 3 hours.

Commission Details

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) is governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses.
