Build it yourself and delegate the work to others? This new-build project with three bedrooms and three bathrooms offers exactly that. While you can still have a major say in the choice of interior design and give it your personal touch, the architect and owner handles communication with those implementing the project with 206.2 m² of constructed area: structural engineer, sheet-metal worker, carpenter, tiler…. The design materials are natural stone, concrete and smart wood imitations that do not rot - the perfect mix of Mediterranean and contemporary style. A multi-layer wall cladding is breathable, water-repellent and thermally balancing at the same time. Generous door elements with aluminum frames, installed in place of windows and fitted with Climalit glazing, create plenty of brightness while keeping rooms pleasantly tempered, and also provide barrier-free access. This concept is also reflected in the design as an elongated bungalow, whose outdoor area is shielded by the L-shaped wings of the house. This is also where the 12 m long, 24 m² sports pool will be located. The windows are by Cortizo; the tiles are ceramic. Heating is provided by underfloor heating powered by an air-source heat pump. If desired, a solar system for electricity generation can be added. This and other home technology such as locking system, shutters, light monitoring and indoor climate are controlled “remotely”. The house is situated on a 736 m² plot in the popular coastal residential area of Sa Coma, near the Safari Wildlife Park. Sheltered and nestled in a neighborhood that likewise values this location with fresh easterly breezes and plenty of sunshine. Property prices here are still moderate. From here, many places on the east coast are quickly reached; restaurants and nightlife options are close by. And of course the sea - Sa Coma has its own long, stretching beach. Cala Millor, with its popular seaside promenade and strolling boulevard -outside the tourist season a place for connoisseurs - is also not far. In just a few minutes you can also reach the port town of Porto Cristo, the typically Mallorcan village of Sant Llorenç, or Manacor, the island’s second-largest city. Construccion starts in September 2026.

Sa Coma is a popular tourist resort between Cala Millor and Porto Cristo. Along the seafront promenade there are numerous fine restaurants and cafés. A wide range of shops and both smaller and larger supermarkets offer good shopping opportunities. The main attraction is the long, fine sandy beach and the Sa Punta de n’Amer peninsula with an old defensive tower in the middle of a nature reserve. Numerous sports and leisure facilities provide a special holiday experience. The beautiful, lively year-round harbour town of Porto Cristo and Manacor, Mallorca’s second-largest city with the famous Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy and an international private school, are only a few minutes away by car.
