Benitachell is located between the towns of Moraira and Jávea, in the southeast of the Marina Alta (Costa Blanca), in the north of the province of Alicante. The province of Alicante is in the autonomous region of Valencia. It has all the services that both tourists and residents may need: supermarkets, chemists and there is even an English primary school. Despite all the tourist areas and new neighbourhoods, this area has preserved its own landscape, with large areas dedicated to agriculture and muscatel grape cultivation. The centre of Benitachell, situated on a hill, has conserved the characteristics of an authentic Valencian village. At an average distance of 90 km, the airports of Alicante and Valencia provide easy access. From the marinas of Javea and Moraira, the popular islands of Ibiza and Mallorca are only 50 nautical miles away.
