Solbiate Olona is a municipality in the Province of Varese, in Lombardy, located in the scenic Olona Valley, between Busto Arsizio and Tradate, about 35 kilometers from Milan. The town’s origins are very ancient: the name “Solbiate” probably dates back to the time of the Insubres Celts, before Roman rule.
