This beautiful Extremaduran pasture of 82.46 hectares can be considered a wooded pasture, populated with holm oaks, olive trees, cereal crops, and livestock use. The holm oak produces a fruit known as acorn from November to March, which is mainly food for pigs, from which our Iberian ham comes. And the olive tree, the olive. And from there, the famous olive oil. The estate consists of three buildings: the main house, the caretakers' house, and the stables. And away from these, the pigsties. The main house, with a lot of charm built in stone, reminiscent of Galician country houses, has two floors; the lower one with large windows open to the garden and the pasture, and the second with balconies with beautiful views of the Extremaduran countryside. On the side of the house and with access to the kitchen, living room, and winter dining room, we find a porch with tall columns, surrounded by a large number of trees, flowers, and plants. From the garden with tall palm trees and beautiful vegetation, enclosed with stone walls and iron gates, we access through a large wooden portico to the house's hallway and the main room, this vaulted and with beautiful stuccoes. Around it, we find 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the living room, the lounge with a fireplace, and the winter dining room, also with a large fireplace. The charming kitchen has a window to the garden. To access the first floor, a staircase with stuccoes and a high vaulted ceiling with a skylight illuminates the hallway of that floor. Upstairs, we have another living room with a fireplace and 3 bedrooms with a bathroom. The floors, which preserve their original state, are mainly hydraulic tiles in the noble areas, Portuguese tile, and clay.
This beautiful pastureland with clayey soils and some sandy patches, agriculturally very productive, is located south of the so-called "Tierra de Barros." The nearest towns are: Almendralejo, 50 km away; Usagre, 8.4 km away; Bienvenida, 15 km away; and Zafra, 15.2 km away.
The airport and train station of Seville are 120 km away, 1 hour and 20 minutes by car via highway.
Very close is Mérida, a beautiful town where we find the Roman amphitheater. Also, 1 hour from the estate, is the border with Portugal.
The climate is rainy in winter, cool, and warm in summer. The average temperature is 32º in summer and 12º in winter.
