The small town is lively year-round with smaller shops, restaurants, and cafés, while Manacor, the second largest city in Mallorca and home to the famous Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy as well as the international school ISLA, or the popular medieval artist town of Artà, is reachable in just 10-15 minutes by car. The wide sandy beaches of Cala Bona, Sa Coma, S'Illot, and Canyamel are also only about 15-20 minutes away. Golf enthusiasts enjoy the four excellent golf courses in the vicinity – but for hikers or cyclists, the surrounding nature around San Lorenzo is simply delightful. The international airport PMI can be reached in just under 40 minutes by car.
