Historic House in Vejer

The property is framed between the Baluarte and the well-known Puerta de la Segur, which gives access to the walled enclosure from the Almohad period and the main church (formerly the mosque). The noble families of the white village lived in this ancestral home, built on top of a tower at the end of the 17th century, which still conserves the typical stone staircase that connected the house with its roof and in turn with the parish church. It has an old tower overlooking the Janda lagoon, beaches and countryside. It has three bathrooms, two kitchens, two large living rooms with wooden coffered ceilings and balconies, five bedrooms, and a large terrace with wonderful views, as well as other outbuildings such as storage rooms, a room with a well, an old stone staircase (which gives access to the tower) and a corridor around the courtyard with a glass roof and awning. The whole house is arranged on the first floor, whose access leads to a large courtyard around which all the rooms of the house look out. The views from the roof terrace are enchanting as they allow a close-up view of the history of the village and in the distance the Cadiz countryside.
